It's also designed for durability and a long service life: Its 1 HP motor is fully enclosed in a metal hood and its double-wide spindle bearings and precision spindle deliver vibration-free drilling in most types of wood and metal, including stainless. So if you need a drill press that can handle the rigours of your shop, consider the Magnum Industrial 76-450. Other features include a laser guide, chuck guard, built-in work light with a separate on/off switch, extra-long handles that allow for better feed control and 12 drilling speeds, from 120 to 2,270 RPM.
