The Magnum Industrial MI-31250 15" helical head planer is considered one of the industry's finest. High-speed bearings, hardened steel gears and a cast iron motor ensure that this planer can deliver in demanding professional applications. Its double-sided rectangular carbide inserts make quick work of hardwoods like cross-grain maple and teak and are also quick to set, eliminating the need for time-consuming and finicky knife-setting jigs.
