Designed for precision hole enlargement in milling operations, the Magnum SBH2&3MT3 boring head (MAG-SBH2&3MT3) provides adjustable radial offsets for custom internal diameters. This unit accommodates both 2-inch (50.8 mm) and 3-inch (76.2 mm) boring configurations via its standard 1-1/2"-18TPI threaded mounting interface. The integrated MT3 (Morse Taper 3) shank ensures maximum surface contact within the machine spindle, providing the frictional retention required to withstand high torque loads during deep boring passes. Precision-ground dovetail slides maintain lateral rigidity, while the graduated micrometer dial allows machinists to input exact dimensional changes without inducing backlash.
