The Klingspor abrasive sheets PS 33 B are ideal for hand sanding:

Their paper backing (B-paper) allows them to shape perfectly to the contours of the workpiece. This ability makes this abrasive ideal for working on rounded surfaces, profiles and other shapes. The abrasive is primarily available in medium to fine grit sizes.

The PS 33 B – high-quality aluminium oxide on flexible B-weight paper

Klingspor furnishes their abrasive sheets PS 33 B with a backing of B-weight paper. Unlike other types of paper backings, this paper backing (B-paper) is lightweight and, thus, particularly flexible. The abrasive grain is fixed in place with a synthetic base coat resin. It is made up of aluminium oxide, which provides for an excellent removal rate thanks to its extraordinary hardness and toughness. Klingspor relies exclusively on synthetically manufactured abrasive grain for all of their abrasives. The reason behind this decision is the constancy of the properties that distinguishes synthetically made grain. This choice of grain allows the company to guarantee abrasives that deliver consistently unsurpassed quality.

For a long service life - the top binding made of solid synthetic resin

The abrasive grain of the abrasive sheets PS 33 B is a semi-open coating. This type of coating creates a great number of spaces. These spaces prevent loading with great efficiency. This feature combined with the stearate coating ensures that the surface of these abrasive sheets will not clog up prematurely despite the high removal rate on wood and paint, filler, and varnish. Aside from the base coat, the top size coat is responsible for the secure anchoring of the grain and the long service life. The size coat, the top coat is made of synthetic resin - a material Klingspor uses for all of their abrasives. The consistent properties and a high quality are therefore guaranteed even with the top coat. It also serves as a support against the forces that constantly act on the abrasive grain from all sides during sanding by hand.
