Arbortech's Ball Gouge is a spherically shaped grinder attachment that can rapidly hollow small concave surfaces in woodworking projects. It's designed to provide exceptional control, balance and performance in freehand wood shaping and carving. The Ball Gouge creates shavings, not dust.

This 30 mm diameter ball-shaped cutter is ideal for carving smooth hollows in wooden spoons, small bowls and is useful for small to medium sculpting. The Ball Gouge features Anti-Grab technology, which helps prevent the tool from digging. When moved across a wooden surface, it gently bounces out and creates a chisel-like texture.

Designed to fit standard 4" (100 mm) and 4-1/2" (115 mm) angle grinders, the Ball Gouge can handle speeds up to 12,000 RPM.

  • Anti-Grab technology helps prevent digging, giving you exceptional balance and better control over the look and finish of your woodworking project
  • Revolutionary ring-shaped blade is self sharpening, rotatable and replaceable to provide optimal value and durability
  • Quickly achieve concave surfaces in spoons and small bowls
  • Easily hollow out and undercut
  • Create a beautiful chiseled texture on wooden surfaces
  • Ideal for free-form carving in small and medium woodworking and wood carving projects
  • Carve in any direction without compromising on control
