With its heavy-duty frame and cast-iron table, the SawStop contractor saw excels on the jobsite or at your home woodworking shop. Plus it's equipped with a safety brake that stops the blade and shuts off the motor on contact with skin.

How does it work? The blade carries a small electrical signal, and when skin contacts the blade, the signal changes because the human body is conductive. The safety system activates within 5 milliseconds! Watch the video below to see the SawStop safety system in action:
