Built for light-industrial applications and personal users, the new inverter-based Syncrowave® 210 TIG welder is AC/DC TIG and DC Stick-capable with the ability to weld up to 1/4-inch-thick material in a single pass. The easy-to-use interface makes it perfect for hobbyist and trainee welders but it is by no means a “beginners” machine. The 210 is also great for applications such as light metal fabrication, maintenance/repair operations, light manufacturing and automotive repair. The Syncrowave 210 is the first Miller TIG welder to include the Pro-Set feature, which takes the guesswork out of setting weld parameters by offering preset controls. Simply select the feature and adjust until Pro-Set appears on the display. The Pro-Set feature is also available for Balance and DIG parameters. Miller-exclusive Auto-Line™ technology and the multi-voltage plug (MVP™) allow for easy hookup to any input voltages within 115 to 230 volts with no manual linking, providing reliable input power regardless of welding conditions. Other features:AC Balance (TIG) control provides adjustable oxide removal which is essential for creating the highest quality aluminum welds.Pulse (TIG). Pulsing can increase puddle agitation, arc stability and travel speeds while reducing heat input and distortion. Expandable feature.DIG (Stick) control allows the arc characteristics to be changed for specific applications and electrodes. Lower the DIG setting for smooth running electrodes like E7018 and increase the DIG setting for stiffer, more penetrating electrodes like E6010.Auto-set (MIG) automatically sets your welder to the proper parameters.Update and expand. Front panel memory card data port provides the ability to easily update software and expand product features.Low power draw. Inverter-based power source provides full welding output from 240 volts while drawing less than 30 Amps.
